22 June 2010 - ALA Celebrity READ poster

Nathan Fillion will appear on an American Library Association celebrity READ poster which will be available from July 2010. The READ campaign promotes libraries, literacy, lifelong learning and reading. The poster features Nathan in a science fiction inspired setting reading a copy of his Kids Need to Read co-founder PJ Haarsma's latest novel, The Softwire: Awakening on Orbis 4. The poster will be available to buy from The ALA Online Store from mid-July.

Nathan Fillion has once again teamed up with artist Martin Firrell for his next public art project, Kind of My Heart. More details of this project can be found at www.martinfirrell.com/lostking.html.

Nathan Fillion has been cast in James Gunn's (Slither, PG Porn) latest movie, Super. Nathan will feature alongside his Firefly and Slither co-star Gregg Henry. The film centers around Frank (played by Rainn Wilson) who transforms himself into a pseudo superhero, The Crimson Bolt when his wife (played by Liv Tyler) leaves him for smooth talking drug dealer Jacques (played by Kevin Bacon). Nathan Fillion will play a pop-icon who inspires Frank to become a superhero.
